The Duane Whitenack City/ County Meet is the Roanoke Valley Aquatic Association's year end championship meet. City/ County is currently held at the Salem YMCA Pool over the last Friday and Saturday of July. The event order is as follows - Friday - Backstroke, Short Freestyle, and Individual Medley: Saturday - Butterfly, Breaststroke, and Long Free. In the 2008 Meet, more then 1000 swimmers participated.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Dive Overs will be used for all heats with swimmers ages 11 and over. This is expected to cut between 1 and 2 hours a day off the length of the meet. Please pay close attention to calls for Clerk of Course and report promply.
